How much funds do you need in your account to be able to live in the U.S ?

You don't. If you needed a certain amount of funds to live here, they would have kicked me out years ago. Are you planning on moving someone from another country to here?

Wow... that's nice. So you give me a negative simply because I answered your question... but your question was worded wrong according to your comment on my negative. SO b asically, you negged me because you asked the question wrong... because somehow that's my fault.
And while we're at it... I don't think you're supposed to be buying green cards anyway.

Maybe not buying a green card, but if OP has $ 1/2 million to throw at the problem, there may be some sort of a visa available.

The EB-5 permanent residence category is for the alien investor. $1 million invested in a new business and creating 10 jobs (not filled by relatives of the EB-5 applicant). The qualifying amount of investment drops to $500,000 if it is in a "targeted employment area". Defined as an area outside an MSA or a high unemployment area (150% of the national average).
USCIS is very strict in adjudicating these cases, particularly in source of income. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney.

I am sorry I take that back. I thought I had to answer correctly to whether the answer handled my question.
I did admit it was my communication that created the problem, but I never claimed it was your fault.
Thank you for your help.
