Hi! Any advise I would really appriciate. I stopped my pill end of march time had a bit of spotting then, here are the dates of my next periods:- day 1 started bleeding:- 21st April day 1 started bleeding:- 26th may day 1 started bleeding:- 29th June I assumed that my periods were regular after coming off the pill after 7 years because I have had a few normal periods I think they work out at averageing a 35 day cycle, today is day 38 and I have not come on, I did a pregnancy test about two weeks ago just because we are trying and was hopeing to get a possitive but was negative, have not done a pregnancy test since. My stomach is off but I suffer with ibs to so that does not help, I have a poor diet so I have gained weight lately and boobs have got bigger, I do feel sick in the morning and throughout the day, but I just keep thinking is it my ibs or am I going come on. I know you can miss periods after coming off the pill but after having a few months of normal periods I thought I was back to normal, could this be the case, the pill is not out my system or could I be pregnant? I normally do a test every other day but I am scared to do one in case I do get a negative as me and my fiancé want a baby, please any advice would be great king regards Tina :-)

We can't know. Going off the pill, poor diet and ibs, spotting here and there - 50-50.
All you can do is test.
But I can't believe that you want to get pregnant yet are willing to continue eating a poor diet. Never mind how awful that will be for you (your teeth will rot and you will age considerably) but what about the poor baby? Prenatal vitamins, sure but that's not enough. Plus, poor diet could be why you have spotting only so much, as your body tries to retain the blood and tissue for nutrients. Making it more difficult to conceive too. Your ibs will just get worse, and will bother you more when you are pregnant. I hope you try to change your habits for your sake and the sake of any child.

Hi! Thank you for you advice, I am getting help for my poor diet, it is getting better than what it used to be, so I am trying my hardest for myself and others, I have always had this problem so now is the time to change I am almost 27 and am trying for a baby it has to change, I also already have a child who is 7 who eats so healthy so it will never affect my children thanks again for your advice I will be doing a test soon, and I only spotted just after I stopped the pill the other 3 were heavy periods as usual x
