I think you should put around posters around the neighbourhood. This usually attracts attention and your grand daughter should get a job in no time :)

Best idea would be to place a local advert either in shop windows or newspaper.

Summer is more than 2/3 over. You don't say how old she is. Maybe she can start now and continue through the school year - I did, starting at around 14. 12, 13 is OK too. But there is more concern these days with liability, which would be on the parents, if something happened to a child or pet.
