There are two movies that have been popping into my head lately and I can't remember their names. Both films are animated. One scene from one of the films is where a toy donkey has a heavy load on his back and collapses. I think rats were guards and they unloaded his back and the donkey couldn't get back up. The guards tried to persuade the donkey with a jelly bean or gum drop and when he still couldn't do it they took him apart, literally.
In the second film, there is this plague of some sort where the heroes are a young man and even younger girl. The plague/syndrome causes people to lock up and are basically transformed into 3D versions of the male and female emblems on bathrooms.

Stuff is pretty weird, but I'm kind of curious to see if I just dreamed these things or if they're actually real movies. I'd say they came out late 80's to early 90's and both are cartoon movies.

Sounds like a scene from

The Mouse and His Child

Thank you for that. I haven't had a chance to check it yet but I'll definitely take a look. Any idea about the second movie?
