I was on probation w/fines etc.. violated an ask for jail time, do I still have to pay the fines?

Sorry it is not what you wanted to hear, but for some people, I know one young man, who just never could do probation, he always violated, so he merely worked out a deal for max time and no probation or parole so he did not have to deal with anyone.
