I opened the panel to my Trane AC unit furnace and saw the blower motor. The only problem is I do not see a capacitor anywhere? Does this have a special place ? Not on the Wheel assambly nor near the power in area.. What and where is it..

Note: I am an engineer and know what a cpacitor looks like... just where ?

Blower not going on, just tying to start but never gets going... keeps tryn

Thanks

They usually are found on the motor housing itself. It should look like a hump on the motor housing.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement part for a Trane TWE040E unit that has a blower motor part # from GE 11/12/93 BF05 04NZ written on it.. Motor does not spin, just tries every minute but cannot. Service tech stated a $ 750 part is needed.. Can I find myself and install cheaper?? Thanks

Most are mounted on the squirrel cage ,the motors that Califdado3 is talking about are normally in furnaces that have belt driven blowers, haven`t seen one for many years in a home they mostly in very large commercial units,, don`t know what you have or where it is located
