My toilet will not flush. I have checked the tank and everything in there works just fine. Since it is not the tank it must be something to do with the toilet itself. It flushes fine when we use a plunger. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

Sounds like you have a blockage either in the bowl or in the line it flusher into. If you don't have a closet auger (see images) then purchase one from your local hardware store, If that doesn't help then the toilet must be pulled and the line snaked out. Good luck, Tom

Thanks for those kind words, jlisenbe. It isn't that
My disease has improved all that much, ( It's progressive and not treatable). It was the shingles attack that put me out of action these last 8 months. The shingles are passing but unfortunately the disease that effect the vision remains. However, I'm learning to work around it.
I want to thank you for your concern and support. It means a lot to me. I plan on taking a larger part in posting in the future. Cheers, Tom
