We crossed over into the US this week, which we have done many times before but this time we got asked a few NEW questions, which after so many times, throws you off a bit when you have your standard answers ready. I was thinking that maybe they are switching things up at the border, not asking the same old questions anymore because of all the issues with people who shouldn't be crossing the border and yet, still do.
Just curious if anyone else has been asked any new and different questions lately?
We got asked if we had ever been finger printed before? What a bizarre question

Fingerprinting isn't just for crime; it is a sure fire identity tool, so I don't see where it is such an unusual question. Identify theft is a major stress nowadays. Event passports aren't safe; driver's licenses are stolen; as a Canadian we know we must protect our pin numbers and or SSN. All major theft items for people who need another identity fast.
