View Full Version : My best friend
I'm Beautiful
Jul 23, 2011, 04:02 PM
I am a 13 year old girl (turning 14 soon). I met my best friend 3 years ago, she is such a an amazing best friend.. A one of a kind! But she isn't the problem. Her older brother is 16 years old (turning 17). Her brother was an amazing person to me, he was perfection itself! He was very kind to me. We talk on the phone a lot, we chat on the internet a lot, and we sure meet a lot since both of them (my best friend and her brother) were just very important to me and they were both my bestfriends.
It was later that I realized that I became attached to him, and he was attached to me, that whenever I'm in trouble I go to him (or his sister), and that he became my guy-bestfriend. He gives me advices, and I give him advices, and we talk about baiscally everything.
Now, he has only 2 years left , then he'll be done with school and will travel with his sister, across the globe to go to an university. I just can't believe I won't be seeing either of them again!
Every night I cry because I think about how he will move on with his life and would forget me, his best friend! What should I do? I really don't know what I'll do without him with me! He used to guid me and protect me (since I don't have any brothers) His sister and him actually were the reason I woke up every morning! They were the reason I go to school. They ARE the reason I am still alive!
I just can't believe they'll be gone!
Help?

Before they leave you need to start talking to other people:) JUst walk around and say hi to one person:) They will remember that and hopefully next time they see you they will say hi... Just smile and people will be drawn to you! :) It will be OK and keep texting the boy and his sister keep in contact with them the best you can! :D

Now don't you worry kiddo, there are a lot of ways you can still talk to them. Unless they're going to live in a cave with no internet or service far far away you'll still talk to them.
Skype is a beautiful thing, since skype I've been able to talk to relatives I don't normally but want to, and it's FREE. Express to your friends that you still want to talk to them, if they feel the same, which I hope they do, they should be more than delighted.
There's even more ways though if you still need your daily dose of advice or the hello, use an instant messenger, MSN, ICQ etc. Email works great too or even Facebook messaging. I used Facebook messaging to contact my girlfriend while she was travelling Greece for 2 weeks a couple years ago.
Oh, and it's not like you're never going to see them again! They aren't going to be gone forever, and the time they're gone will go by so fast you won't even know it happened.
Just keep your chin up sweetheart and if you're ever down, remember this website, there are a lot of people here who can also give you advice and help if you ever need it. It's what we're here for.
I wish you the best!

I very often don't know why one gets ten answers but another, similar question, gets none.
I usually look at the last date when I post. If it's 10 years old but someone posted yesterday I never notice!

Because it's from 2011 and this is not a blog. Advice is no longer necessary - as was said right before you posted.

Which is my point - if you read before you posted you would have known. Look at the times that the last 3 or 4 posts were made.
