They exist already.

Here's one style --

Baby Trend - Baby Activity Walker with Toys, Kiku (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=baby+walker+with+wheels&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12938098608806266503&sa=X&ei=oQMnTor6CsGCgAeSy7lc&ved=0CG0Q8wIwAg)

You have to design on with innovations?

I'm not sure what your assignment really is.

Oh and it has to be wood apart from the bit where its meant to sit.

One thing that annoyed me about baby walkers was that they also went backwards, and my kids were forever crashing into furniture, the walls, etc. since it's easier for the baby to push back with their legs than propel themselves forward.

What parts have to be wood?

Wood would be silly -- would make the walker much too heavy for parents to carry around and to keep clean as well as for the child to be comfortable in. Whose idea was wood??

We use what is called a "pony" walker for kids who have disabilities

The tray needs a depression, a cup holder.

The wheels need to be able to be locked for safety, to keep the child from wandering all over, if the parent has to leave the area and stairs are nearby, etc.

Its just like a model type thing and wood because I don't really have the sort of plastic making and saping stuff at home but my dad has a wood garage with tools and stuff.
