View Full Version : Honeywell T8001C Thermostate "Return"

Hi,

Our heating system tonight is suddenly not working? Not sure what the problem is. But something I noticed on the led screen is the word "Return". Does anyone know what this could mean? It also has a picture of a "flame" beside the temperature? Does this mean the pilot light may be out?

No, this is a few years old - the honeywell thermostate. The flame pic from reading more indicates that it's on heat mode. But the "return" is something new shown on the screen. Our upstairs does not show this. Yes, we will probably can an AC guy. Thank you...

On the newer 8000 series 'stat return was a program function for vacation. Just return to schedue to get rid of it.

"Return" is shown when programming the thermostat, to indicate the time you return home. Try hitting the Select button a few times to see if it goes away.
