Yes, Some of the lyrics went something like this:
New York, New York
Uptown, downtown
Feel the heart of it
Be a part of it

Oookay. I think I've found it, but I'm not sure.
Could it possibly be "New York, New York" by MCL ?
They sound 80's, techno, and it's called New York haha. That's my guess...

Ohhhhh I hope there aren't any New Yorkers on the threads tonight.
Okay. MCL is NOT a band/Dj whatever. It's a club, no THE club in New York in the late 80's. So.. On iTunes (if you don't have iTunes, Amazon has it too (http://www.amazon.com/Different-Mixes-McL/dp/B000EZ8QEI/sr=8-1/qid=1170211191/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-1892864-0022546?ie=UTF8&s=music)), there are different mixes of the same song (New York, New York) from presumably their "famous"/usual/special/whatever DJ's.
((That's why I couldn't find a band site haha))

I'm looking for a song by the same name too... But not this one... I think it's called "It's you, only you"... They had an Avante Guard music video with a computer generated face spinning around, saying 'It's you, only you'... I either saw it on MTV or a show called Night Flight.. in New York , in the 80's...
Any info?
