We are trying to conceive, have been for the last 7 months. I usually have a 28-30 day cycle, this month 13 days after my period I started to have a dark brown discharge with small to medium size clots, no cramping. It continued for 6 days. Should I be concerned? Is this break through bleeding? And if it is break through bleeding, does that mean I am not ovulating? Any suggestions?

The best answer is to ask your Doctor to be sure. This question is asked frequently, and quite understandably so. I have found an answer in a similar "Brown Spotting" question (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/130456-post3.html) that might make you a little more relaxed as you make plans to see your Doctor.

Just a heads up I know that my cousin was trying to get pregnant for about a year but nothing happened.some people say if your trying you won't get pregnant so they stopped trying and a month later she was pregnant maybe not try and you could become pregnant or there is this women's log app you could download into your.phone if it's a smart phone and it will tell you your most firtile days are and its usual last a week or so but the most firtile day of you get the app is the whole flower I don't know just some ideas to help I used the app and we had sex the whole week of the firtile week and now I'm.pregnant

Breakthrough bleeding typically occurs when you are on some type of hormonal birth control, and while it can occur during pregnancy, it is not an indicator of such. Like Cliff said above, contact your doctor, read the linked post by a very smart lady, and in the meantime, just go buy a pregnancy test. Might I suggest picking up several at a dollar store. They are much cheaper and just as effective. That way you can test all you want without the pinch to your pocket. :) good luck on your journey!
