First, where is your unit located Basement? Attic or Closet or garage?
Second, If the installation was completed by a real craftsman the filter should have been installed using an easy access filter rack or cabinet. There are only two places to locate a filter. One at the unit itself ot two in a filter return grille in the wall or ceiling.
1. Go to the unit and look at the right side or left side and see if there is an easy access rack
2. The contractor may have gone "cheap" and not installed a rack so you may have to remove the blower compartment to find the filter.
3. There may be a chance that the filter is missing..
I hope this helps. I have been a service technician in Wisconsin for twenty plus years and I have seen some real strange things. If not get me more information and I will get you an answer!
Take care and enjoy the HEAT

One more thing... I researched your model and that appears to be a downflow system. This means that you probably do not have a basement. If the furnace is mounted in the downflow position the filter will actually be at the top of the unit where the return duct connects to the unit. If it's not there then it may be at the return grille. In some cases the return grille is central in the home and has a recessed rack where you can insert a filter. This is only likely if you have ONE return. Otherwise you may have to remove the blower door and see if the filter is inside the blower cabinet.
Again, I hope this helps.
