Hello,
I am a 14 year old girl and I believe that I have a mild yeast infection. I have been using lotrimin antifungal cream (clotrimazole cream) that the doctor recommended and it seems to be clearing up slightly. Unfortunately, I have a week long sailing camp that I will be in the water for and I estimate that I will probably get my period sometime during that. I have never used tampons before but I think that I probably should since I will be in the water most of that time. I was wondering if it is okay to use tampons while I have the infection? Please answer ASAP as I leave for the camp on Sunday.
