I got implanon put in about 10 months ago(Sept 2010), I've never had any real problems with it but this morning I woke up and it feels like there's a bruise around the spot where the implanon is but I can't see a visible bruise. It hurts pretty bad though and is sore. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this. Is it normal?

In response to your question it is not normal for you to have bruising or pain; this sometimes can be an indication of an implant leakage because by this point you should have already been well recovered from it.
