I was prescribed Carac (flourourcil) .05% for 2 weeks. Yes I understand Carac is not prescribed for acne, However during it's use acne did not have a chance. I purposely ate and drank everything I thought to aggrevate my skin conditions including Sebero.. Dermatitis, Actinic Keratosis, and of course the everpresent ACNE.
Acne really loves my face. Going back to what I was earlier stating that during the 2 week treatment of Carac, acne said bye bye as my skin was torched by the active ingredient in Carac. Following my treatment my skin was smooth as baby's you know what. But the resiliant acne was back about 10 days later in full effect, with my average number of pimples per day. Got to love it!

Now I must be thankful for the fact that I have not had dermatitis flare-ups or sign of actinic keratosis since I have discontinued use of Carac.

My question... How the heck do I get rid of this ugly, rotten, unsightly, disgusting acne once and for all. Gasoline, Pool Cleaners, Removal of Vital Organs, A skin transplant, Blood doping or Blood transfusion?

There's no cure for acne, but it can be treated and control with over-the counter products. Topical creams, lotions or gels containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, resorcinol or sulfur may help treat and reduce acne. If you don't see any improvement from these over-the counter products after 4 to 6 weeks, please consult a dermatologist for a treatment that's right for you.
