About a blond girl posing like Marilyn Monro in world war two

I'm looking for the same TV series. I can only remember that there was a blond girl, Marylin Monroe style, and the time was late 30s, early 40s, II world war time. The TV series was probably British and it was aired in the late 80s, early 90s.
