I live in Idaho and I recently got arrested cause my stupid friend stole his moms car and we got pulled over I got a curfew violation and he said since I've been on Diversion It might be probation. Can I move now and start probation with the Montana Police? I really need to get away from my friends here I feel like I will fail probation here If I'm here and I need to be with my dad can I do this?

I doubt if you can do this, as in just go and report in to wherever you want to liive. You must check in with your probation officer before you make any long term decisions such as this. I don't know whether they will allow it or not.

Well first, you don't do probation with the police, you do it with the probation department.

So have you been to court and been sentenced yet ? You will have to do that where you are at. Once they have sentenced you to probation, you can request it to be transferred
