How can you have a miscarriage at 38 weeks?

What do you mean by how? Miscarriages often happen for no known reason.

I have seen pregnancies ended at 38 weeks listed as miscarriages and I've seen them listed as stillborn.

J-9, our expert, should be along soon with the absolute correct advice.

Are you trying to induce a miscarriage or do you believe that you have had one ?

Curlyben asks a good question -

I found this: "Stillbirth vs Miscarriage
The terms stillbirth and miscarriage can sometimes be confusing. Both refer to the loss of a pregnancy, however, stillbirth occurs later in pregnancy. A stillbirth is the loss of a fetus after the 20th week of development, while a miscarriage refers to a loss before the 20th week. Some stillbirths can occur right up to the time of labor and delivery. Stillbirths are much less common then miscarriages, occurring in only 1 out of every 200 pregnancies."

Where (and why) are you concerned how the miscarriage/stillbirth will be "listed"?

Did you lose a baby or are you wanting to know how to get rid of the pregnancy?
