The start light is blinking red as if the cycle was interrupted, but when I press it it continues to blink red. I tried the alternating normal-heated dry a few times, which has worked for flashing green before, but this time all the lights light up and nothing happens after that. When I press end cycle they all go off but it still won't start.

What won't start? What light?

Is this an oven? A dishwasher? I think you left out that part.

THe start light on our Kenmore dishwasher flashes as if the cycle were interrupted, but when I press it it continues to flash and won't start. I tried the normal wash-heated dry alternating a few times, which has worked for a flashing green clean light, but for this all the lights light up and nothing happens. They go out when I press cancel but the same problem occurs when I try to start the cycle. I also tried turning off the circuit breaker. Any other ideas?
