There is a guy I like that gives me rides home, fixes things, and always is there if I ask him. I am wondering if he likes me. There is another guy who is just a friend but when his name was brought up he casually asked me what he did for a living and when I told him it was sales he said, I can see him doing sales because he has a nice smile. Another time he was giving me a ride home and the other guy text me wanting to know if I got home OK and when he did the guy I like giving me a ride home said, how nice that was. The guy I like also told me that he was moving across town and I said, Oh no you can't give me a ride home all the time anymore, and he said you will have to have the other guy take my place. Now I always hear of guys getting jealous and saying something bad about the other guy to make himself look good but this is the first time a guy has said another guy has a nice smile or is really nice. He also seemed to pass me off to other guy when he said he was moving. I guess I'm wondering if a shy guy who might be a little insecure is giving the another guy a compliment because he is jealous of them. Or maybe giving me up because he is a little jealous and doesn't think he can compete. Just confused by this.

Ask him how he feels instead of trying to secondguess his,or anybody else's feelings.

Or there is a third possibility, which is, the second guy just meant "he has a nice smile" when he said that. It sounds like jealousy, but chances it might not be. And when you are asking him, do not ask him if he is jealous directly, he would throw it back at you straight. Tell him, "I wanna know something, which i dont understand. What did you mean, when you said so the other day" something like that.

Ask him what he means and you can understand it better. I don't think he is jealous, just a nice enough guy to let you enjoy your friends.

I think you are looking for signs he likes you, as much as you like him.Talk to him.
