Hello everyone we are new to this site and we just re opened our janitorial comp and would like to know what cold calling script everyone is using to get new accounts.

There is certain basic info that you would want to learn.

Start with a friendly greeting to the receptionist/secretary or assistant who answers the phone.

Ask to speak to the person that 'contracts for their janitorial services'. Get their name and title and write it down as you are listening.

Tell them who you are and the name of your company.

Tell them what you do (briefly).

Ask if they have any interest or need for your service;

Do they use an 'outside service'?

Are they content with their present service? If not why? (This allows you to hone in on any problems that they may be having).

If they are happy then ask if you may be added to their 'bid list' to bid when they go out for proposals in the future. (When?)

If possible ask for an appointment if there is a present need. Tell them that you will be brief and need certain information to proceed. And there is no cost to them to put together a proposal for them.
