Hi,
Two and a half weeks ago I had a full lace wig fitted from A-list hair.
At first I had a consultasion and went back 4 weeks later for the free fitting (as I spent £230)
So free fitting was given.
2 days after my fitting the hair shredded like mad and my sides on my head constantly iching, also the piece was coming loose on top. Just after 2 days!
I contacted A-list hair about this and they emailed back offering me a Saturday at 4.30pm.. probably so the customers could not see the state I was in.
Although I could not make this appointment as my daughter was ill.
I emailed them back asking for another t
Date and they said they would get back to me.
After 2-3 emails they haven't still.
I ended up having my whole wig coming of and it resulted in me losing nearly 2 inches on each side of my hairline!
I left a bad review on the review site and then after that they decide to email me saying they will call.
They did after a certain time but I was so distraught I couldn't answer.
I have pictures emails etc 2.
Id like to know what my rights are? Any help or advice would be appriciated. Thank you, sara garner

This would be covered by the Sale of Goods Act.
Best to contact your local trading standards as they will advise you further.
First point of call is Consumer direct: Consumer Direct - The Office of Fair Trading (http://www.oft.gov.uk/consumer-advice/oft-and-cd/)

I will try that thank you.
I was more interested in the neglect that they have done with my own hair has I have now gained hairloss due to the neglect they have done in poor fitting

It would seem that they have tried twice to rectify this issue and you have not made yourself available to do so. I would suggest that you see what solution they are offering before you take it up the ladder. One of the first things that The Office if Fair Trading will ask is "What have they offered to do as a solution to the problem?". If you don't have an answer to that question, then you may very well be sent right back to the store to find out.
