I am about to apply to take the CPA exam in California and am worried about 2 prior DUIs. One was when I was 17 and the other when I was 25. I'm now 30. I talked to my lawyer's secretary and she said that the juvenile one wasn't on my record but I'm worried that the state of California can find it. Any advice would be much appreciated?

Hello C:

What's your question?? Do I think they'll find it? Are you asking if you should lie on the app? ARE they asking about your convictions? Why are you getting your legal advice from your lawyers SECRETARY?? Does the law rub off on them?? Isn't he in? Won't he take your calls? Will the secretary represent you IF they find it?

All good questions.

OP's question should be whether (s)he will allowed to be a CPA with these convictions on his/her record. The answer is probably yes. If asked on the application, (s)he should answer truthfully.
