So I've been dating this nice guy for three years now. It never really bothered me so much till now how he acted yesterday. It was supposed to be gathering for a picnic at the beach with a couple of friends this 4th of July. My boyfriend put in a request days in advance but with boss, not liking him they refused to let him of or switch shift even leave early. So he was pretty upset. I already bought a ton of stuff for the picnic. Wasted a lot of money, he expected me to not go. But I really wanted to go and so did everyone go else wanted me to because I got the day off. Still upset he said it's up to me to go. That he was going to go later on after work. So I chosen to go. Turns out my boyfriend had to go to a family dinner and can't show up. So he ended up getting all mad because he could come. So he decided not to come having the expectation that I'm going to follow him and not show up.

Turns out the day of the picnic, my ride was late. So I ask if he could give me a ride. Which was bad on my part. He came pick me up and since he has road rage he started speeding on the street, he ended up breaking his car. I told him to stop he refused to listen till we got there he never said good morning to anyone. Drove off all angry, I was standing there crying my eyes out till we got to the actual beach everything calm down.

Found out my friend was coming to the beach I was super excited so when I saw him I playfully shot him with a water gun. He all of a sudden drops whatever he is carrying on the ground walks away angry. Everyone told me to chase him so I did, I'm literally walking on ground bare foot with all the rocks chasing him and said "hey I'm sorry what's wrong?" He yells at me "YOUR BOYFRIEND WOKE ME UP AND STARTED YELLING AT ME ABOUT HOW MAD HE IS AT EVERYONE AND HE WANTS TO LEAVE!" everything was happening so fast for me. All I said was "It's not like we wanted him to work. We wanted him here.. He has no right to wake you and yell at you.." I just started getting stress and crying again. I said you and my boyfriend are just angry at me.. He said "I'm not wearing any swimming clothes does it look like I want to get wet?" I said no. And then he forgave me and we both said sorry.

We headed back for some fun. We went out to the beach and my friend that came was watching the stuff so no can steal anything. We were having fun but my other friend who is autistic started getting mad at me and his girlfriend. Just because we didn't want to go to the water. Because me and her can't swim. He was getting mad saying "forget this I never want to plan any parties again. No one cares about how I feel." We were all frustrated and wanted to go back. Turns out it's been four hours, I had no watch on me I never knew I didn't have a phone on me either it was in my bag near by shore. The friend that came later still watching our stuff was really mad. And yelled at me again and said "I've been waiting four hours for you guys." And I took a really big sigh and said "don't worry your not the only one mad" than he said "by the way your boyfriend been looking for you." I though isn't he at work.

So turns out he wanted to surprise visit me at the beach after the fact causing a big scene. He been walking for two hours. He shows up all mad at me again. He said "I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU! WHAT NOW YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE ME?!" I'm getting frustrated, I didn't know he was coming if I knew I would have came running. He yelling at me on the beach in front of everyone. Even right next to the Domestic Violence tent. I'm just crying confused and said why everyone beating up on me.

Than my boyfriend tells me "Do you want to come with me to go to my grandparents house?" I was stuck cause either way I was going to piss someone off. Either I'm going to piss of my autistic friend for leaving early cause it was his party or piss off my boyfriend for not going with him and not spend 4th of July together. So I sat there for a good hour or so to think.

In the end I chose my boyfriend I left with him. Turns out my other friend left too he was bored. I ended up pissing off my autistic friend end him being mean to his girlfriend which ended up them packing up and leaving after we did. No one saw fireworks together my boyfriend end up pretending nothing was wrong.

It was unnecessary drama. I don't know what to do.. I don't want to be part of this group of friend whom I felt threw their anger at me. I don't know if I should stay with my boyfriend.. he was such I jerk.. Even if I chose to leave my group of friends I end up stuck with enemies.. If I break up with my boyfriend he told me he would quit everything to stay with me.. He even said he commit suicide if I broke up with him.. He told me I was the only reason he live for..

I don't know what to do.. I need advice..

You are right, unnecessary drama. Seems the drama queens had the same bad day. Do like the rest of us who have bad days and ruined plans. Move on, forget it and do better tomorrow.

And don't invite drama queens to the next party. That includes your boyfriend, and I have to say that trying to cancel your plans for his, is bad behavior, and he sure doesn't sound like a nice guy that takes care of you and treats you well.

I would forgive any one having a bad day, but not if it was every day. But I think you feed that drama he acts out a bit too. Let thee dust settle, and talk when you both are calm.

You know what gets me here is your boyfriend talking about suicide were you to leave him.

That smacks of emotional manipulation to me-never a good thing.

As for your friends,well maybe it's time to look for new friends?
