I'm not sure if my house is haunted but when I am asleep I hear strange noises under my bed and random noises in my house but my parents can't hear them. So is my house haunted or is it just my imagination?

Many things happen that cannot be explained.

Many more strange things happen that can be explained by logical, rational thought and investigation when at first
They seem too strange to be explained.

What appear to be shapes and figures can be reflected lights or dust in the air or any number of things.
Your brain has the power to "see" what is expected, real or not.

The fields electric currant emit can affect how we feel and make you uneasy.
Variation in the power supply to your house can cause appliances to do things they normally don't.

When a house is heated by the sun in the daytime then cools at night
The expansion and contraction of the framung, floors, walls are capable of making
An entire symphony of different noises that can be mistaken for thumps, footsteps
Even voices, and laughter and moans.

When we get scared we perceive things differently than we do when we are not scared.
And strange unexplained things are scary.

I am not doubting your word about what you have experienced
But over 90% of the time explanitations are found in everyday things.
So it makes sense to start looking at these first.

But I believe in the paranormal.
I have experienced it.

But with the recent interest in "ghost hunters" and hauntings that proliferate the TV
Now, have caused too many people to look for paranormal answers first , instead of
Looking at other possibilities first and foremost because 90% of the answers are there in
The rational reality of everyday life.

Weather, the angle of the sun , reflections from passing cars, bikes, toys or sounds houses make
Also plumbing can cause hundreds of different sounds . A lot of normal but not well understood
Things like these can seem something they are not..

Hopefully this will give you enough information for you to start checking this out.
Get back in touch if you want to talk about this , or have anything
New happening. we will always be here and will do all we can to help.

Could be... could not. We can't really gauge that by what you told us. How old are you? How long has this been going on? Does the fear come after you hear noises or does it come out of nowhere? Does anyone else in the home experience anything like this?

Ahhh, I didn't realize you had two threads started. As this one was answered before your other one, let's stick to just this one, OK jessclemmensen? How old are you? What noises do you hear under the bed? But still, we cannot say right now whether your home is haunted or not. How do your parents react to your claims?

Threads merged, please do not start new threads for same subject. If you need to add more info, please answer your own question

I am 14 and it has been going on since I moved into this house but I saw my uncle as a ghost the night after he died which was when I was 3 but I have seen strange things and heard things no one else can here and when I tell my parents this stuff they say well if there is anything in the house then it is a good spirit and won't hurt me, but I'm not convinced and I now have trouble sleeping.

And my grandmother owns a special crystal you can buy in the shops and you call a spirit you want to ask it a question and I tried it and I felt something touch my arm and it also works with a necklace that I have and it only works with that certain person and only in my house and I asked him if he has been in my house watching me and it started spinning around which means yes.

Well, Jess, I can see from what you typed above there may be something going on in your family history. This type of thing seems to have been with you since you were a child. Depending on how long your grandmother has been involved in the occult... it could be a spirit that claims hold of the generations of your family. Understand this, I am limited by the internet and cannot verify 100% anything you are describing... but what you said is something that is quite common. No matter how well meaning your grandmother may be... and how innocent playing with a crystal like this may seem... it is still a form of the occult and forbidden by God. I'm not saying that this stuff is fraudulent, but I am saying it is deceitful and the power behind it is not good. What sort of religious background do your parents have?

Well were not very religious and we don't go to church and stuff like that but my parents are Catholics.

Please put your posts in the box labeled Answer ,not the comments box. You will have all the room you need to put in all the information you can and that will help us all.The comments box is for short add ons and comments and is limited on space. The "Answer box "is unlimited.

There are still many possibilities that can explain what you are experiencing and I am far from convinced that you have a problem with any paranormal events.

However, the crystal and the necklace could possibly be an invitation to trouble. I suggest you not use them as you described and even get rid of them. They are like ouija boards in that they are potentially a way to invite things into your life you do not want.

For now I am not clear on how long you have been experiencing "things others don't" , how often does it happen (seldom ? Often? Occasionally?)
And in as much detail as possible ,I would appreciate it if you tell us about what has bothered you the most out of all that is happened or is happening.

I have been in your position ( and I believe HH also went through this) of being young and not believed about something that is happening... and we all will do all we can to help find you some answers.

Yes, I hope I was clear that using that crystal will get you no where but trouble.

How can it be trouble? My grandmother uses the crystal to talk to my uncle, auntie and her mother. These people are my family. How is this bad?

For one, because it is not your auntie, uncle or mother. Just because a spirit does not have red horns and sharp teeth does not mean it is not bad. Spirits are deceptive above EVERYTHING else. I'm not expecting to get very far in this conversation with a 14 year old. As with a lot of subjects, the end does NOT justify the means. While your grandmother may wish good things... she is dabbling with the occult, and to put it bluntly, it is something that is ABSOLUTELY, 100% forbidden by God. I know you won't really understand this, but that type of activity opens a spiritual doorway, not only into your grandmother's life, but into her family's lives as well.

Well actually the scary stuff has stopped and I don't feel a presence anymore and I don't hear anything at night anymore so who ever this spirit might have been has left me alone

That is good to hear. I hope it stays that way.
