I have read lots of threads in here, in particular thanks to T.K. Russell for his many posts.
In reading I have learned that when going more than 5' from meter pan to Bkr. Panel a Main Bkr. Has to be installed. This is separate from the Main Bkr. In the distribution panel. I currently have a 200 Amp service, but I am moving my distribution panel to the interior of the house approx. 40' away. I am using 2/O cable in PVC conduit 2". In order to protect the main fdr. (from meter pan to distribution panel) I need to install a bkr. right at load side of meter; What is the meter box with Main Bkr. called " Meter disconnect Box ? I have seen some but they all seem to carry Meter, Main and slots for branch ckts. I only need the Meter and main bkr. Part then I will be going express to my Distribution panel hitting another 200 Amp main within the panel. Home improvement stores don't carry them. My mast is Galv. Pipe which I intend to mount on this meter/bkr. Box (when I know what its called) then run PVC out the bottom of the new meter/bkr. Box. Any brandnames or model #s for what I am looking for ? Thanks !

There are various brands, Milbank is a popular one. Most offer a meter with a 200 amp breaker either just below or to the side.

Since this involves changing the meter socket, best you first consult with your local utility, as most utilities only allow a certain type of meter socket.
