I am currently on the pill and started it just under two weeks ago, I then had sex with my boyfriend without using any other method of contraception only 3 days ago, now too late for the morning after pill. I thought I would be OK, but today have had quite mild diarrhea and wondering whether that would still make the pill effective and I'm not sure how long the sperm remains for. I have had sex with my boyfriend after this occasion, just last night but made him use a condom this time, but am worried about the time before. I just need to advice on this.

Well, technically your chances of being pregnant are 50/50---either you are, or you're not.

If you don't WANT to be pregnant, then you need to use multiple forms of birth control EVERY time you have sex. Even that doesn't always work--I got pregnant using a spermicide, condom, and the pill.

The only thing you can do now is wait to see if you miss a period and then take a pregnancy test.

From what I've heard before, the morning-after pill is usable up until 4/5 days after the sex. That may be untrue, though, but it's what I've stumbled upon.
If you're on the pill, but have only had it for 2 weeks, it hasn't taken complete effect yet. You may be pregnant. Take a test or consult a doctor if you're really stressing. Good luck!

The morning after pill can only be used within the first 72 hours after intercourse. That's 3 days. ;)

Is it really? Okay, thanks then. I remember reading on a Planned Parenthood site that it was usable for up to 5 days but it wouldn't be as effective. They may have been mixed up as well!
