Hi,
I'm am trying to skip my period next month using my Nuvaring. I did research online stating that it was OK to do so. The only thing is that I accidentally forgot to put in my nuvaring last month. I am wondering if it still OK to skip my period this month? Or will I get severe spotting. The only reason I ask is because I am in a long distance relationship and want to be protected if I plan to have unprotected sex.
Just to make it clear... I had my period this month already (without the use of a nuvaring) starting June 15 and put in the nuvaring June 22. I plan to leave it in for 4 weeks and change it on July 19. And take it out August 9 or 10. I plan on having unprotected sex from July 13- August 8. Will I be OK?
If skipping my period is not an option, is it OK to take my nuvaring out a week early and get my period a week before I see him? (take it out July 6 or 7 and put one in July 13)
