I know this sounds goofy, but I bought my Craftsman LT1000 used. It has a 42" cutting deck, but only has one blade installed. I'm told that it is supposed to have two. How should the two blades fit?
Thanks.

You can zoom in on this http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Craftsman-Parts/Riding-mower-tractor-Parts/Model-917271633/0247/1509200/P0104108/00010?blt=06&prst=0&shdMod=917271633 and by surfing this same site likely buy a manual. Sears rearly allows for a free download

Nope, two. Blow the diagram up and look at part #11, blade. This one is exploded to show you all the mandrel parts but , to the left, is an assebled second balde. Maybe try for that manual to help.
