My children's father is on felony probation. Today he was found guilty of 4 counts of contempt for non payment of child support. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail. However, they gave him a deferred agreement. If he makes the full payment from now until he goes back to court on August 22 he will then be put on probation. My question is since he was found guilty of the contempt charges, does he need to let his probation officer know and will it violate that probation? We live in Texas.
