I am looking for a board game I had when I was a kid but I can't remember the name. You would pick your career card (doctor, school teacher, lawyer, etc) and that would decide how much money you started with. Then you would go around the board and you had options of buying different houses, cars, recreation like tennis lessons or sailboats, etc. You would lay out all of the cards that showed each different item you could purchase. I remember a big red sports car on the cover, I think. I know this isn't much of a description and it's not the game Life.
Thanks

Here's a site that features the box fronts of the games --
Popular Board Games - Our most popular selection of latest Board Games at BoardGames.com (http://www.boardgames.com/populargames.html)
All I can think of is Careers, but there's no red car on the cover.

I used to play a game with my grandmother called Pay Day. That sounds like it could be similar. I remember having a career that decided my money and then buying different houses and that sort of thing. I can't remember the box at all. Perhaps this is what you're looking for?
