I recently met this guy and I really like him. In the first 2 weeks, he used to text me all the time and called on occasion. I never called him because he often works long shifts at work, and I don't want to bother him. We went on 2 dates which went well. However, recently he hasn't been texting me as often nor calling. This past week we went on a date, he called me the next day... then I didn't hear from him for a week. I called him and he apologized and said he had been very busy and stressed from work, he then said he would try to be more available. The next day I texted him and he took a very long time to respond. I asked if I could call him, and he said he was out with friends... but he did tell me to call him the next day.

I am starting to wonder if he is still interested in me, or if he's not feeling it. I want to ask him when we talk on the phone next. Please help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Its really early days, I wouldn't get too stressed about things. He text you a lot in the first two weeks, he probably took a step back thinking it was a bit much and has cooled it. He is still in contact with you so stop worrying.

We'll have to take the wait and see approach, but it does sound like he's losing interest if he disappears for a week.

Going forward, I suggest that you not worry about his schedule. If you want to call him then call him. You don't need to check with him first. If he has the time, he will pick up.

The you call him and ask him rather than hang around in limbo, staring at your phone.

Going by the signs,I would say he's cooled off-but the only way you'll know is by talking to him.

Follow your gut instinct here I would say. Yes it's early days but don't overlook gut feelings you are having they are nigling you for a reason. Ask him out right; are you still intersted or not...
