I know that I'm full but I still feel like eating even though my stomach is full. Some times when I feel like this and it goes on for like a week than I'm fine and the week after I feel like I never want too eat again like the sight and smell of food isn't appetizing enough for me too eat (this only last 2 maby 3 days not as long as the constant eating). Im 6'2" and only weigh 120-125 lbs. so im not over weight im almost under weight. Also to go along with theses "spells" I can not gain weight.I know that I have a high metabolism but it doesn't explain everything. Does any one have any idea to what is going on here?

I recently heard that many food companies have started using high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar, because the brain cannot figure out when the body has had enough! That would cause comsumption of the foods to go up, and the food companies would have more sales, driving up profits! Artificial sweeteners have a similar effect. That is one reason why the people who drink diet soft drinks are usually the fattest that you will find anywhere!

You should get your thyroid levels checked. Hyperthyroidism main symptoms are: increased appetite, weight loss, inability to gain weight, rapid heart beats even at rest and heat intolerance. In the long term it might cause osteoporosis and many other complications, so you should get your thyroid function tests done. Of course, for this, you need to go see an endocrinologist and tell him about your symptoms.

Any GP can test for hyper OR hypothyroidism. The endocrinologist would come into play after an initial diagnosis is made.
