Hi. I wouldn't mind some input and hashing on this. I have been experiencing hip pain (on my left) for over a year and a half. I had gastric bypass 3 years ago and started on a pretty extreme regimen of exercise. When I finally graduated to running, I started to experience sharp and painful hip pain the next day (not during my runs). Over the last few months, the pain has worsened to the point that I cannot exercise and it hurts throughout the day. There's a great deal of warmth in the area as well and the pain can be worse at night. Even without exercise it hurts... so it's a mystery!

Been to several doctors, diagnosed with ITBS, Hip Burstis. An MRI showed no injuries, just a cyst by my left ovary. (ahh, a lead) I had a sonogram and the radiologist told me that it's not attached to my ovary and, possibly, it may be twisting my ovary. My gyn reviewed the results (it was benign with clear liquid) and agreed that it may be a possibility and recommended laroscopic surgery. I scheduled an appt with a specialist. Yesterday, though, I went in on an emergency because the pain was unbearable to another gyn (mine wasn't in the office) and she chocked it off to some muscular problem, told me to take Advil and start water areobics. She did not believe the pain and the cyst are related.

I am beyond frustrated and not quite sure what is wrong with me now. I feel like I am going crazy! I cannot gain my weight back. I worked so hard.

I welcome comments and discussion.
