Ok , whin one gets fired . That person must be paid emmidiately at least some day correct??

So if they don't pay me .on same day . Do they still owe me for days unpaid??
If iget fired monday . I should get paid total owed till that day .

I should not have to wait till next week or more than 72 hrs. for all hrs owed

Most companis don't run a special payroll for people going off roll. You can expect to receive your final paycheck on the next normal payday. That paycheck should cover time actually worked in the pay period, so no - you can't expect to be paid for the days after you were fired.

Some states require that a terminated employee be paid within a specific period after termination. What state are you in?

Most if not all companies will merely pay you when fired, on the next regular pay date. I have never worked anywhere or even heard of anywhere that paid you at the time you were fired. It would not really be even possible, since withholding taxes have to be done, and in many cases, pay is done by outside companies even

It's possible, but perhaps not easy. If the law requires it, the employer had best scramble to get the terminated employee paid on time.

Here is an example of what I am talking about (my home state of Alaska):

"AS 23.05.140 (http://touchngo.com/lglcntr/akstats/Statutes/Title23/Chapter05/Section140.htm). Pay Periods; Penalty.
...
(b) If the employment is terminated, all wages, salaries, or other compensation for labor or services become due immediately and shall be paid within the time required by this subsection at the place where the employee is usually paid or at a location agreed upon by the employer and employee. If the employment is terminated by the employer, regardless of the cause for the termination, payment is due within three working days after the termination. If the employment is terminated by the employee, payment is due at the next regular pay day that is at least three days after the employer received notice of the employee's termination of services.
...
(d) If an employer violates (b) of this section by failing to pay within the time required by that subsection, the employer may be required to pay the employee a penalty in the amount of the employee's regular wage, salary, or other compensation from the time of demand to the time of payment, or for 90 working days, whichever is the lesser amount.
