Went to Dr. yesterday and was told my PSA results jumped from an average of .5 over the last 8 years to 2.7. What should I be looking at now. Am I in any kind of danger?

I'm confused - are you talking about a PSA or something else? (You posted in women's health.)
Here is some very good info - Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Test - National Cancer Institute (http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/detection/PSA)
What did the Doctor who gave you the test results tell you?
I believe that formerly a level of 4 ng/mL was considered normal, but some Doctors are now considering PSA to be elevated at 2.5.
That would put you in the elevated category.
Again, this is a question for a Physician familiar with your overall health.
