Trying to fix my Kool Aid purple hair. It was platinum and I didn't account for how the blonde was going to take the plum tones in a burgundy dye. I bought rich brown with warm tones to try to neutralize the grayish purple, but wanted some advice. I just did the "burgundy" yesterday, should I try to shampoo a lot of it out before putting the brown over it? I'm afraid the dye is going to wash out in stages... ie: brown first and I'll be stuck with purple again. Or do you think that by the time that happens that I'll be able to dye my normal warm red tones over it? Should I just go for it and dye the brown over the purple even though there's probably still a lot of pigment in it? Help please, I have to go to work tonight (hahah bad timing on my part)
