Impossible question. What materials would be used, what type of basement structure would you have? Would it be on a slab with no basement? How many rooms and how many bathrooms?
I would suggest a contractor give you this price.

Tick is right, impossible to answer as posted. Do you think it would cost the same in NYC vs MS? I just built a brand new house, craftsman style, full basement, partial up stairs, MOM, 4 BR, 3BA, all Hardie and stone, 1/4 acre lot, architectural shingles, about 4,000 sq. ft. counting finished basement for around $315,000 in an Atlanta suburb.
