Ok... I had a baby girl about 5 months ago and I bled really bad after I had her. She was like 2 or 2 1/2 months old when I finally stopped. But I have yet to have a period. I have been spotting around just about everyday though and been cramping on my right side. The doctor put me on proestrogen pills. I withdrawl bleeding 6 days after the pills where gone. But still no period. What is going on with me? I have took around 10 to 15 pregnant. Test and all of them were negative. Am I pregnant or am I going through menopause? Could there be something really wrong?

Are you breast feeding? Some women do not get their period until a the baby is approximately one year old. As far as pregnancy goes. I doubt it. You have already seen a doctor and I do not understand why your so worried about getting your period so fast after pregnancy. Every women is different. Each one gets it back at different times.

Did you say you are 20? Unless you had a historectomy (sp) you wouldn't be going through menopause! Joe is right, most women won't start their period for a quite a while after giving birth. Heavy bleeding right after is also normal. If you are breast feeding your doc shouldn't be putting you on progesterin to start your periods. You need to do some research and ask your doctor about how your body works. These are all things you should know before you have a child!
