All right so I have a vague memory of these two movies from when I was little. The first one involves a group of people who travel to an alternate dimension of something like that, into a kind of desert environment that's filled with vagabonds and lawlessness kind of like mad max. But these people all fight over this blue liquid (not simply water) because they die if they don't drink it or something.

The second movie I'm thinking of involves a group of fantasy heroes who get trapped and separated in a castle where they have to solve all these puzzles and traps and stuff, there's a warrior type character, a wizard, I think the girl was an archer or elf or something... terrible descriptions I know but these are really vague memories so if anyone has any ideas at all I'd really appreciate it.
