It is an american standard and it is an all in one on off hot cold thingy trying to get it off we took 2 skrus out off the face plate but we can seem to find any other anything to get it off I need to take down drywall and I can't do that with it still there is there a trick I'm not finding thanks

That face plate is called the escutcheon and it will not come off until the handle is removed. All faucet companies are masters at hiding their attching screws. Many are directly on the bottom side of the handle or under what appears to be a log plate on the know. Which model do you have?
