917.275021 23hp.48"craftsman/kohler rider.what do I torque the deck pulleys to?can't seem to find info any where.
Good and tight.
I run them down as tight as I can with a 3/8 ratchet .haven't had any troubles so far .

Thanks a ton.
That confirms what I figured.just had to make sure. What I did was tightened it with the ratchet, then checked
The torque. It came out at about 55 LB's,so I torqued it down to about 64-65 LB's
Thank's again !

Unless a manual specifies a torque on a nut or bolt there usually isn't one. Engine heads and auotomotives lugs have torques but most things do not. Like DG says, good and tight.

Thanks, that's good food for thought.
I'm kind of toying with the idea of a SM.side job cleaning, fixing, and saving decks/mowers from the farm fashionable, field ornament. Help pay for my fishen, any how. :)
My dad used to make knives,I sharpen ONE set of blades now I'm constantly getting bombed with the"help me's"
And of course on about 2% of them have any paper work ! That's why people like you are beyond awesome !
So again THANK YOU.
