This movie is about a young girl around the age of 9 way back in 1940s and she is super sweet and moves in with her aunt her aunt doesn't warm up to her right away until she gets paralized. The young girl charms everyone in the towns heart, and she even becomes friends with a foster boy. When she sneaks out and jumps out of a high tree she is fine the first time when she jumps out of the tree, but when she goes back in she falls out of a tree and becomes paralized.
