Harley Fatboy 2000 While riding turn signals shorted out and 5 minute later lights went dim and the engine light came on then the bike went dead. Won't start. I checked the battery and fuses. They were fine. Had a new coil installed last year. What could it be? Call me 973-727-9619 Matt

You will have to find the short.
I would charge battery. Measure voltage and take note. Then try to start bike, if it starts, take note of the voltage and see if it is charging(higher).
I wonder if the charging system got damaged.
If it doesn't start, the Ignitiion system needs to be troubleshot.
