I have a 1998 dodge neon that excellerates at a slow speed and when reaches speed required it will not drop the rpms. Any ideas?

. Replace the platinum spark plugs, if you don't have Champion plugs installed or if they have not been changed in 50,000 miles. Many problems with Chrysler products that don't use Champion plugs.

. Clean the throttle plate and throttle body with Valvoline Throttle Body Cleaner.
