Ok so I am having trouble getting over an ex. We were really close and we broke up for many reasons but we really miss each other and I don't know how to get over it. I don't want to be with another person for a while. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi annabear, it's always difficult getting over a breakup with an ex ,it will take time.Try and keep yourself busy by seeing other friends, doing all the things you always promised yourself you would do when you had the time.Look up the friends you haven't seen for a while, go for coffee have a good catch, arrange to meet again, maybe do a film or perhaps a meal at theirs or yours, things like that.Make a catch up list... things you should have done ages ago, people you've been meaning to call or see but just haven't had the time.If you have some spare cash, a trip to the shops with a mate is always a pick me up.. treat yourself you deserve it.
I know you miss your ex, but have no contact, be it phone call or texting, don't go there it will just prolong the agony,Avoid places where you know your ex might be,the last thing you need is to bump into them,it will just knock you back.
Your right when you say that you don't want anyone else just yet... ofcourse not the wound has too heal, you don't want a rebound situation.
So keep your chin up, remember... NO CONTACT AT ALL BY ANY MEANS... KEEP BUSY... TREAT YOURSELF... TRY NOT TO SIT ALONE PONDERING,go out and do something or see someone, join a group or club get involved with something new that you are interested in,you will also meet all kinds of new people/friends.
Takecare.
