We really want to move in together but my parents won't let me. I'm 17 and he's 20 and our baby is 2 months. I want to leave my house because my parents just tell me b.s. all the time and I don't know what. But they don't let me move out, knowing that my boyfriend is a very hard worker and has his own place to live. But if I just decide to leave one day and not come back home, can my parents send him to jail or does it depend on me.

Your boyfriend could absolutely go to prison, depending on where you are located. If the child is two months old, and you are 17, its existence almost certainly proves that you had a sexual relationship with him at 16. If that is below the age of consent in your location, he could go to prison for statutory rape. While you do have complete control over decisions regarding your child, you are still a minor and you are in your parents custody. Should you try to leave with your boyfriend, they can have him prosecuted for custodial interference, or even kidnapping. They don't have to let you do anything, you are a child, and anything regarding you is a decision that your parents get to make. (And this is a really good example of why children shouldn't make adult decisions)

ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

If it can be proven that you were underage when your sexual relationship began, he could get in legal trouble. Your parents can press charges. Even if you were over the age of consent, if you move out before you are 18 he could get in trouble for parental interference.
