A local house painter is touting a "nano ceramic" paint that is about 2 to 4 times as expensive as "premium" exterior paint. I've researched some on the Internet, but I cannot find any objective tests as to the durability of this new product. Anyone have personal experience with the durability and performance, and whether it's worth three times as much in cost?

You did get 3 bids didn't you? Never have a job like this done without competitive bids and the other 2 will not even mention nano anything. Yes this stuff is totally great and will last for a very long time, maybe 2-4 times longer. Now does that still sound like a smart idea?
